Grant Joins Over 200 at Kickoff

(Tampa, FL) Supported by a Kickoff Host Committee of more than 80 members, James Grant officially launched his campaign for Florida State House on Thursday, February 11th, at the Emerald Greens Clubhouse. As a third generation Tampa resident, James was proud to be launching his campaign in Carrollwood, where he was born and raised. While addressing the over 200 community leaders and supporters in attendance, James stated:

“I’m not asking you to trust government, I’m asking you to trust me to keep government out of your way. Because it’s not my job as a representative to go to Tallahassee and create legislation that runs your lives. It’s my job to go to Tallahassee and make sure no one else does”.

James is a third generation Tampa resident who attended Tampa Jesuit, holds a marketing degree with a Political Science minor from Auburn University, and a J.D. from Stetson University College of Law. He currently works at The Grant Law Group.

James currently serves on the Board of Directors for General Norman Schwarzkopf’s Children’s Home Sporting Clays Classic charity event and has supported the organization for more than ten years. Additionally, he serves on the Board of Directors for an annual charity event benefiting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
